I just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive. I appreciate the voicemails confirming this fact and the late nite phone calls inquiring why I am not drinking beer. My hours spent in my cage at work have been reduced from 8AM-1AM to 9AM-6PM for the duration of the summer. Therefore, I should be available for social events, such as drinking beer at the hall and Sangria Saturdays.

However, I have recently been informed that my parentals are moving to San Antonio and I may be required to assist as slave labor during the moving process (read: I may be in Cypress on the weekends, and not by choice). As for the past month, I have been recovering from the week I was in D.C. for a conference and I apologize for my absence.

For guaranteed Erin appearances, please call or email me to schedule an appointment. I appreciate your cooperation in this matter. By the way, I will be going to the Fox and Hound at 5:30PM Thursday nite (tomorrow) for $2 pint nite, followed by the hall if everyone was still planning on going. We will be at the third booth back directly in front of the door at the fox if you care to join us.

Why I hate small town cops

Im at my parent's for a night to bring back the 4-wheeler. I go to Mark's house and chill for a little while and leave at about 10:30. Upon arriving at home I get out of the truck and all I can hear are dumb, stupid ass high school kids having a party down the road. I drove down to see how big it was and it wasn't big at all. I'm not usually one to break up a party but there was no excuse for this. When the bass from their music is so loud that it is rattling the windows on our house which is over a 1/4 mile away, there is no excuse for that. While on the thought of music, I have one simple question. This town is full of dumb rednecks, why is it "cool" to fly rebel flags from your trucks and jam 2pac. Do they not know who lost the Civil War? Last I remember, you lose the war, you take down the flag. The Rising Sun is not over Japan anymore, and the and the Third Reich Eagle is not over Germany anymore. Wait, I remember my days of high school here. The history classes were taught by coaches. So if it didn't have to do anything with sports, it wasn't important. Well, finally at midnight I have had enough so I call it in. I thought to time it because i knew they would take a long time to get there because a noise complaint isnt exactly a "high priority". IT TOOK THESE DUMB ASSES OVER AN HOUR TO GET THERE FINALLY!!! When the cop finally got there, he told them to just turn it down and have a good night, wadled back to his car, and left. Wasn't there two minutes. Glad I wasnt being robbed! "Protect and Serve" my ass!

Just got back from the Hall, lots of fun. Nothing beats running into lots of people, drinking, and dancing. I also actually saw a long lost friend, I was begining to think she was dead.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy pi day. Nothing beats Pi perhaps the best number for relating the circumfrence of a circle to its diameter. Also its Albert Einstine's birthday, thats cool too.

A Salute To the Captain

I love rum. I have drank many in my day but the one that I always will take over all the rest is Captain Moragan Private Stock. This rum is different from all of the rest. It has a distinct smooth flavor that makes it the best to me over any other, including the Captain's Original Spiced Rum. It is a tad bit more than the others but it is money well spent if you are looking for a good rum. It goes with anything! I prefer to have it with Diet Coke on the rocks in a high ball glass. Drink it and you will understand.
